Ubuntu Global Jam

We are hosting our first Ubuntu Global Jam event this Saturday the 3rd of September. The event will take place between 10am and 6pm at the 091Labs makerspace which is located on the 1st Floor, Tyrone House, 47 Eyre Square, Galway (above Kennedy’s Pub).

This will be the first UGJ event to be held in Galway. The UGJ is an incredible opportunity for the Ubuntu community to unite and work together on a diverse range of topics with the dual goals of having fun and improving Ubuntu. Everyone is able to contribute to the Jam, and everyone is welcome and encouraged to get involved. Curious about how to make a real difference to Ubuntu? This is a great chance to make that difference so if you are based in the West why not avail of this great opportunity to join in!

Our experience members will be there to give you a hand and get started. We also will be tweeting/denting using @ubuntuie or you will be able to contact us on IRC in the #ubuntu-ie channel on the irc.freenode.net server.

If you are interested in getting a head start or just having a look, all the information can be found in the Ubuntu LoCo Galway Wiki page.
